Saghar (サガール Sagāru) is a minor antagonist in Genshi Shonen Ryu. It is a large Pterosaur patrolling the desert in search of prey. Ryu and his group were attacked by her, who kidnaps Don and takes him to her nest to offer it to her hatchlings. It soon encountered Tyranno who had invaded her territory and the two predators soon clashed with one another, but after a colossal battle she is killed by the fearsome opponent.

- Due to its size the saghar could've been inspired by the giant bird called the Roc, as it doesn't resemble any pterosaur known today.
